With the new ergonomic RFD90, Zebra has brought a UHF RFID sled onto the market that easily keeps pace with the harsh working conditions in manufacturing, transport and logistics. It is very robust, has a 7,000 mAh battery and delights with a high reading range of 6.7 m (standard) up to 22.9 m (RFD9090). Additionally, it features a programmable triple function trigger. Using an optionally available cable holder, users connect the RFD90 to a Windows-based PC or another host and use it like a corded RFID reader. The cradles are available both as plug-in or multi-plug-in options, as well as charging and communication-only variants.
