EDITORIAL Dear Jarltech Partner, Where there are no goals, there is a stand- still. Jarltech has a lot of big goals this year and we will achieve them, too. How will we do it? Just as we always do, with a secret recipe that I would like to share with you today. It consists of a tablespoon of deter- mination and a tablespoon of courage, mixed with a teaspoon of persistence and, finally, a particularly important ingredient that gives the whole thing flavour: a good dose of passion! Apple founder Steve Jobs is often used as an example by many people, when you want to show what a person can achieve if he is guided by his passion and pursues his goals with courage and perseverance. In his famous Stanford speech, he wished the graduating students: »Stay hungry, stay foolish.« When I started Jarltech 30 years ago, I was hungry to be successful. And many people around me thought Jarltech was a foolish idea. Nobody does anymore. With the ingredients mentioned above, the hunger to be more successful than the competition and »foolish« ideas that later turned out to be a big hit, Jarltech has devel- oped from a one-man operation in the 90s to one of the largest distributors for Auto-ID hardware and POS with 14 locations world- wide and more than 300 employees – and continues to develop. We are passionate about premium distribu- tion, think big, have courage and actively implement goals. We have been growing steadily for years.
