The stationary scanner FM80 Salmon from Newland is equipped with Newland's top-megapixel technology, ensuring impressive performance in decoding poor and damaged barcodes, as well as higher-density 2D barcodes.

The FM80 Salmon features a large scan window and a wide scanning angle. It captures EAN codes at a speed of 3.5 meters per second, swiftly processing shopping carts and reducing queues. Additionally, it has an RJ port, allowing for the connection of an additional scanner, particularly useful for capturing codes on bulky items. The FM80 Salmon is designed for robustness and holds an IP52 certification. 

In self-service at the point of sale (POS) and scanning in retail, the FM80 Salmon stands out with its near and far-range illumination. This prevents users from being blinded by bright light and reflections, ensuring a pleasant user experience.
