The battery lasts up to 9 hours. The R12 tablet PC is also robust: it is tested to meet IP54 and MIL-STD-810G standards, withstands falls from 1.2 m, resists shocks up to 20 G when switched on, and up to 40 G when switched off. No wonder, the tablet has a stable inner core made of magnesium alloy, which is protected by non-slip rubberised housing. But that’s not enough: the R12 tablet remains operable at heights of 12.000 m, snubs sandstorms with a speed up to 20 m/sec. and even works in 95% non-condensing humidity for a period of 10 days.
