Description
Description
The Zebra HD4000 enterprise head-mounted display glasses feature a particularly practical real-time field of view and weigh less than 30 grams. Thereby they offer extreme all-day wearing comfort, making them ideal for demanding work environments in warehouses, production and everywhere else where users want to work hands-free.
The HD4000 is equipped with an OLED colour display, a head tracker with a 9 axis position sensor, an integrated microphone and an optional 5 megapixel camera. The display glasses are powered by plugging the USB 2.0 cable into the Zebra host mobile computer with an operating system from Android 5 or Windows 10. With a power consumption of less than 1 watt it has little effect on the battery life of the mobile device. Plus, the batteries are hot-swappable, so that both the mobile device and the display glasses remain operational around the clock. Via cable the HD4000 uses the processor in the Zebra mobile device and the WLAN or PTT function. This ensures maximum processing performance, as well as a fast, reliable mobile connection. Thanks to Software Development Kits (SDKs) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), the display glasses are easily integrated into existing and new applications.
Mount the HD4000 onto any commercial safety glasses and use it as a second screen via Android presentation mode. The adjustable frame mount ensures that the display may be used either for the left or right eye, as needed. Switching between eyes occurs in seconds. Plus, it accommodates a wide range of inter-pupillary distances and prescription glasses to minimise eye fatigue. Another plus: if the display distracts during work, simply flip it up out of view.
Zebra understands the demanding work environments of the HD4000 and has accordingly designed it to be very robust. It is built to handle multiple drops onto concrete from 1.5 meters and you may also use it in temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +50 °C. Also, the display glasses are IP67-certified against dust and water.
