The OMNIKEY 5022 from HID is ideal for using existing employee badges for computer logon, network and cloud access. It is easy to install and requires no driver installation. Instead, it uses the native CCID drivers of the operating system (Windows, Linux, Apple, Android and Google ChromeOS). The compact form factor enables effective two-factor authentication – even in space-constrained work environments such as healthcare. The OMNIKEY 5022 is also compatible with standard clients as well as thin and zero client solutions.
The OMNIKEY 5022 supports various contactless smart card technologies and standards up to 848 Kbps. These include ISO 14443 A/B, iCLASS and MIFARE. It is also compatible with HID solutions such as ActivID ActivClient, ActivID Applets and HID Trusted Tag Service. Thanks to its global certifications, it is suitable for worldwide use. Optionally, the OMNIKEY 5022 is available with mounting kits with different mounting options, card holders and USB-A or USB-C connections.
